Yes, options on the exchanges are always 100 share increments.  Be clear, these are options created by market makers. Poet has nothing to do with them. 
 
Bud, nothing at all unusual about buying such an option that much time and on a company with speculative prospect. The buy of 700 for July 19th at $5 - that's unusual!
