Question:
1.5 million in dollars or stock....??
What I am getting at is if you just pay dollars then where is the ultimate incentive....? (note: I am not questioning the indivudual or integrity....but just the 'concept')
However if you pay with stock there is pure 100% unadulterated incentive to grow baby grow.
I will keep beating the drum on pay for performance via stock awards and not always shelling out dollars.....stock is the key!
I have 'been there done that' for over 40 years in S&P 500 industries and that is ultimately what really works.
(not that this board can effect this level of change but I just get a bit frustrated when I see how incentive models and stock performance can be incentively improved....sorry about that :-(
