I'm not a patent lawyer, but how does Apple citing a POET patent mean they are going to use our technology? It is my understanding that patents include citations to show they are aware of the previous invention. The new patent (from Apple) should be distinguishable from the cited patents. I don't believe it is an indication that Apple is intending on using POET. 

Does anyone have any further insight into this?
