I was very impressed with David’s ability to explain what they are doing.

 A very big point is made when he talks about  using state of the art TSMC 4 and 5nm CMOS for control electronics versus the limitations associated with integrated monolithic silicon photonics that uses 13 year old 45nm technology (an obvious shot at Ayer Labs?)
