Yes, POET can announce any number of fabulous achievements, partners, awards, new products. Nothing really moves the needle with investors who see a decade+ of no profits. It is frustrating to know all that we know about the profound difference in POET's situation and the stock is well below all time highs.
It reminds me of Robert De Niro's character in "The Mission," who drags all of his mercenary gear behind him on the rugged trail as penance for his years as a warrior for hire. He perseveres but has no redemption. POET drags its past wherever it goes.
Profits and orders from reliable, well known companies will be required to change things. It's coming.
