Thanks for posting that; I was wondering if they had any areas of competition or cooperation. 

POET's slide decks show wearables and 5G, but we don't see who they are working with or if it is a current effort or just aspirational. Samsung might be a connection, as they are involved in the CAI effort and are also big in handsets and wearables.

It's another reason for POET to blow up its stock price so that it'll have ample cash to pursue other lines of work. For now, I think the screaming need is in the hyperscaler data centers.

Dave Lazovsky says that CAI is tying up a couple of years of photonic supplies for this effort. That sounds quite promising, with POET being a big part of it. I'm not sure what he exactly means.
