POET has talked about the need to consolidate operations for a long time and Singapore has always been top of mind for Suresh. He has a lot of good history here with the progressive tech climate that supports innovation.  In today's political climate,  the growth in Singapore and surrounding region as a major technology hub makes sense for the continued growth of POET. 

Yes when Vivek joined POET, Allentown was thought to be the place to operate from (an NA hub) but the geopolitical environment and the market that POET is engaged with has changed. I think it is a smart move.
