Here me out on this: Current US administration places trade ban on high end chips to China. China, a large semi manufacturing region of low end chips, trying to become more relevant in higher-end chips but faces the US ban. POET gets out of US and moves to Singapore. More Chinese companies begin to partner with POET. Did management get out of Allentown to dodge any potential restrictions in trading with China? Hmmmm. Boss move if so.
