Adrian 'saved' the company!!
Without that...cash would still be an issue, the stock price would not have shot up like it did, and the company might have made other decisions that negatively affected the long term potential value to stock holders i.e. prematurely selling SPX or even more significant dilution.
OK...Adrian didn't 'save' the company because POET would have remained in existence and still produced what it already has to-date.
Maybe we can say Adrian 'saved' shareholders from continued pain and suffering. :)
