What I think is not stressed enough is that the turnaround time to develop new POET optical engines is very short by industry standards. This is a case where if you throw enough money at POET the build out can be accelerated. That is not typical in this industry at all and I do think POET needs to stress that a little more. The library is already established.
They integrated the 200G EML in 5 months. They had no prior experience with previous generations as far as I am aware so it is a testament to how good this platform is to integrate new devices very quickly.
