"Okiedo,

Thank you for for commiserating with yours truly.
            Clifford "

Clifford, commiseration would imply sympathy for your views.  More accurately would be to say that I share some, possibly most, of your views and I expect we are not alone.  It has been and remains a very frustrating ride on POET, but lest we get bogged down in the warts and negatives that come with any investment I "believe" that both the Technically Washed and the Technically UNwashed have, on balance, good reasons for their overall optimism and we daily hear more specifics from the Washed and the Unwashed giving testament as to why we should, on balance, maintain anticipation for a positive prognostication for the future of POET.

This messge board provides a smorgasboard of information for past, current and future POET investors and all they have to do is read merely a fraction of the multitude of contributions by what sometimes seems an army of POET advocates, even though I "believe" 90% of the posts are by 12 to 15 people.  On the other hand, those few in that group provide "the real nitty gritty" for the rest of us and we will always owe them a deep debt and our gratitude.  They provide the  separation from "I believe" type posts vs "I know this to be true because..." type of posts.  They are "the Gnostics" regarding the mystical and confusing world of Optical Photonics and all the rest of us are the wannabees, myself definitely included.

By the way, Clifford, thanks for making me look up comisseration.  Haven't seen that one in a long while and I needed to add it to my limited vocab.

I will unabashadly steal your own words and claim them as my own sentiment:  "I am still all in on POET with guarded optimism".  I "believe" it would be foolish, considering the developments with POET over the last 15 years to not be just a smidgeon "guarded".  Those who jumped on the POET train more recently, say within the last year or two at the most may feel that anyone with guarded optimism is not completely supportive of POET.

They would be wrong, eh, Clifford?

Best to all, the new and the old.  Forward!

Okiedo

PS: There is no reason to list the Gnostics.  We all know who they are, as do they.  If we made individual lists they would, most likely, have a high degree of concurrence.  Thanks, Gnostics!!  Whomever you are.
