For a data point...Ashkan Seyedi, the former head of Silicon Photonics at NVIDIA, said at the July Optica event that 800G transceivers are priced between $600-800. He said $500 'if we're friends' and laughed. He was discussing 800G for sub 500m distances I think. It is probably safe to assume the longer reach intra DC modules are a smidge more expensive. Longer reach inter DC modules that generally rely on coherent modulation are the most expensive.

The prices you find online for thousands of dollars are nowhere near what you pay when ordering in volume.
