I am not so confidant this award has any "Merit" whatsoever.

Did you see their website? You can basically self-nominate for a $250 fee.

No indication of who is behind this award aside from "The Merit Awards’ judges include respected journalists, executives, consultants, entrepreneurs, educators and the Merit Awards staff."

If this was an award from a distinguished panel of known and named industry experts I'd be impressed.
