I believe Dave L. left POET once he saw the magic of the OI. I think he saw it as the enabling technology for his photonic fabric. This is just a guess based on the timing and proximity of his career moves. Of course, credit to Dave for putting together the other necessary technologies with the photonic fabric to create the products that he promotes so well. 

Looking forward to see what kind of bang CAI will use to propel its IPO. 

Lisa at Zack's connected the dots for a very big boost to POET if CAI takes off. She might follow up with more on that and hopefully a victory lap. This would be very nice for POET.
