This sounds like better opportunity than Lisa Thompson at Zack's described. Twice as many devices needed and a $400 estimated price for starters. The numbers for POETs TAM get very large very quickly.

Please correct the above if I have misunderstood.

Also, the Starlight as a chip to put a laser on, leaves me wondering, where is the modulator to created a laser light signal that is carrying data? Does that happen before the laser device on POET's chip generates the light or is a modulator assumed to be part of a laser setup?
