Hopefully this comes to fruition. It would be amazing if POET was the defacto standard, with other companies busying themselves with improving the components that fit onto the POET chips and building connections that are made to attach to POET. 

"Works with POET" could be the new tagline that all of the inventors aspire to. 

Making a whole lot of chips, plus licensing some for others is a vision to hold.
