MRI, I wrote my post poorly. I meant to say the $4 call option gets killed at $4, so there is no incentive for any gamers to push the price down further in order to render all the 10/18 $4 call options worthless. So without incentive, the prospective value of the $4 put option is jeopardized.
Also, if you bought the $4 put today, you probably would have paid 0.10, which means the stock would have to get below $3.90 tomorrow to show a profit. Buying puts and calls - in general, no bueno.
