As per a recent Xora Innovation announcement, Celestial AI will be establishing a Singapore Innovation Centre for silicon photonics, a facility designed for advanced R&D and ecosystem development.

 

 A brief description for the “how it works” visual  of Celestial’s Photonic Fabric:

 

The FAU to FAU (Fiber Attach Unit) represents data flowing optically from one MCM  (Multi Chip Module) to another via optical fiber. Data travels optically from chip to chip within the MCM package and within each chip as well.

 

Data is NOT delivered to the beachfronts of chips to continue  the remainder of the journey to its destinations via copper interconnects.     

 

Note:  The FAU to FAU data flow is enabled by POET Technologies Starlight light source product. Everywhere else, the optical data flow is performed by Celestial AI’s Photonic Fabric
