Minnesota Orchestra & Cuba

For those of you old enough to remember the 1970s Ping-Pong Diplomacy as a prelude to normalization of American-Chineese relations, the MN Orchestra is now playing live in Havana as a goodwill cultural-exchange.
As a sidebar comment, Minnesotians have always been somewhat stupefied by official American official dogma towards Cuba (damn; they do make good cigars; we can export our grain to them; and as former MN Governer Jesse Venture once said "Castro is going to live to be 100, so let's deal with it")
Now, we're a modest little Midwestern State on the edge of the Great American Prairie - we ain't nothin' special. But sometimes, we dol Ike to think we might be a little bit above average...
