It is very strange, one would have thought that at least they would have announced some closure to the contract with IMRE, if it’s still active an extension to the contract should have been announced? Regardless I’m of the opinion that the GaAs platform will be dusted off the shelf at some point, so much technology advantages to think one issue would  put it to rest indefinitely. Time and money, I see why the they are focused on the InP platform as it’s a very active and required right now. The shift by the company I believe, like many others, gave us life to continue so I guess time will tell.
