Yes, but... Data centres don’t run on mobility chips, so Intel is far from death IMO. Compute went from centralized (mainframe) to distributed (PC) to cloud. And it still runs on Intel chips. You still can view cloud as a gigantic mainframe with the mobile devices being terminals. So it is a cyclic trend I see here, just another incarnation of “centralized” compute (and storage), from the end user perspective anyway.
