Definitely exciting, appears Rockley and POET on the same trajectory.  Who’s solution is better (or does it matter) and who will get there first?

According to the article Rockley has: “implemented a prototype optoASIC that demonstrates technical feasibility and power-saving potential”; at the time this was written they still had work to do before commercial products were realized.  Where are they now?  They currently have over 30 job opportunities posted and backed by Hengtong group, no doubt are working hard to get to market.

IMO, no single company will own it all, but it would be great to be 1st out of the gate.
