Yes, I too hold shares with TD and they've always sent me proxies without asking. Contact them, speak to a broker, tell him what you want, they should be able to help. I just took a quick look through the website and couldn't find anything that would enable you to avoid that call (I've waited for hours to get through to someone in the past).
