Bales of hay and straw have been placed to keep her out of trouble and she has some sporty googles for hiking the trails.
We believe she has recovered some sight but the balls we use for fetch and when she is the goal tender have a small bell inside. She seems to have developed radar. Also she uses her body to block and juggle the ball. When we are in the rubber room in the house she catches the ball by standing up on her back legs while holding her front legs straight out to help deflect the ball into her mouth.
Her listening skills and understanding are more than I have ever seen in any of my dogs. When she returns the ball and she inadvertently kicks it away from me she will automatically retrieve it and tee it up for me. And she does this without being asked.
