Thanks Rick. I agree but was thinking more along the lines of the ICONIC nature of the RCA connectors and the fact that such a simple device has survived for such a long time in this age of instant change.  Will our "Optical Interposer" achieve that same iconic status!?

Interestingly, I just watched Suresh's presentation at the Empire Club (AFTER I had posted) and was astounded to find that he had also used the progress in the audio industry as part of his talk! "Great minds" clearly. ;-)
