Message: More on the China Power Crunch

The South China Morning Post is a subscription service and I do not have a subscription, but they still send me updates on articles being posted.  I receive the headline and one or two paragraphs of the initial article, but not the whole article.  Still, it does provide some interesting insights at times.

Yesterday I recieved the following short headline and bullet points:

"

  • Maybe someone here on Agoracom has a subscription and can relay more about this article.  I am not suggesting that the current "Power Crunch" in China is a major factor as it relates to SuperPhotonics, only that it is something to keep an eye on for further developments as those developments might apply to SuperPhotonics.  I am just watching this situation at present to see how it develops.  There must be many members on this Hub who have much closer eyes and ears on Fujian Province as to how that Province is and will be affected by this developing situation than I do.  I would definitely be interested in hearing their opinions.  It has already affected some industry in the Province as has been documented.  The Technology sector in other provinces has not always been spared.
