Update on Shenzhen.  My Shenzhen, China friend sent me an email this evening and said temps were cooler temporarily in Shenzhen because of a typhoon.  She said it was about 30 degrees Celsius there in Shenzhen earlier today.  30 degrees C. = 86 degrees F.  She indicated that once the typhoon was no longer influencing the local weather that temps would climb back up higher and that Summer conditions in Shenzhen often continued until sometime in November.  Because of the proximity to the South China Sea Shenzhen is quite humid.  The combination of heat and humidity make it sound a lot like Houston, Texas!
