How much effect will the "Lying Down" movement, or it's follow up movement "Let It Rot" have on the Chinese economy in the future?

An important controversial development to watch in terms of the future of the Chinese economy.  Something very unlikely to appear in the Chinese newspapers or on official Chinese TV.  CCP censors will most likely keep this controversy largely off of the internet as well.  It's very existence taints the Chinese Dream of the middle classs in China, not something that the CCP wants to broadcast to the world.
