I do feel like all roads will lead to Poet, given time. I have read a lot of those pump emails breathlessly talking about the next major tech market...wearables, internet of things, AI, etc etc, and Poet seems to be becoming desirable to all those markets. Can you imagine if its optical interposer does get used in watches for medical purposes? Add to that the small size, the decreased power needed, the decreased cost, the ability to produce it at scale, and then its ability to work with the best in class regardless of the material, and there are applications out there that haven't even been invented yet because an optical interposer that checked all the boxes simply wasn't available, and now some enterprising companies and engineers will perhaps be inventing the next best thing....
Excited for the future! I may need to sell a small portion of Poet (haven't sold any yet since Suresh began down this road) at some point because it is part of my retirement account, but I am hoping that I can hold onto it for many many years, because unless it gets bought out, I believe it can become a behemoth.
