I can't help but think of the Fellowes Corp. China experience back in 2010. With power consolidated in Xi's hands, the tightening regulatory environment and international tensions, I worry about Poet's independent future as China pushes for advantage in the current technology struggles for world dominance. China has always operated under their own set of rules regarding patents, not necessarily respecting US/world patents and liberating tech to serve their own purposes.
Following is a quick overview of the Fellowes saga. Applied in the current context, I am curious what one might think the future holds if already strained relations continue farther south politically between the east and the west; thoughts?
