Suresh and Patents

Help me to understand this. Every time a new patent is registered it is registered in Suresh name. My thinking is: he works for us, he is paid a salary from us, he uses our labs and equipment to make these new discoveries for which he files patents and and they are then registered in his name. Shouldn' these patents be registered in Poet's name ?
