Alternatively, I'd be happy to find out they were negotiating something that kept them from telling us why they raised a small portion and closed the financing, other than the bad news interpretation that has taken hold. 

In my dreams, Broadcom or similar takes a stake in the company, gets a board seat, and there is no need for lots of talk, the actions would speak loudly. If one reads the Stansberry book, this scenario could be what's in store. Maybe they are cooking up something really nice.
