From one of my (former) golf mates:

"My godson’s older brother is the starting qb for Michigan this year.  At 16 he was in Children’s Hospital LA with leukemia, 18 months later out and cleared to play, and then Covid cancels his one and only season, his senior year.  So he never gets a down of high school football. Zero film. He gets a preferred walk on role at Michigan, but is the qb for the scout team, and after 2 weeks of getting beat up and mauled starts to figure it out.  Since it’s the scout team they cycle thru 4 different qb’s, to even out the punishment.  However, he starts dropping td passes all over the #1 defense with the 5th team offense, and whenever he comes out the defense yells at the coaches “keep Warren in, he’s a Big 10 qb!”.  Now he’s the starter.   Such a great kid too.  So even if you hate Michigan, pull for this kid!  Go Blue!”
