Full job description
Program Manager
- Manage all aspects of program management from initiative to final delivery and ensure the delivery of products to specifications on and on time.
- Responsible for coordinating multiple product development activities between product development, engineering, marketing, customers, outsource vendors and relevant departments within the company to ensure full integration into volume manufacturing.
- Represent the company and coordinate specific deliverables with specific customers. Responsible for maintaining customer relationships with clear expectations.
- Plan program activities and develop master timing schedules that meet program objectives. Maintain and communicate project status internally, to outsource vendor and customers on a regular basis.
- Work with individual project leaders (for multiple projects) to establish plans and goals for each project. Set objectives, assign tasks, allocate budgets and agree to timetables for achieving intermediate and overall goals. Review dates to ensure that projects remain on target. establish a formal reporting structure to obtain the needed information to coordinate and monitor progress across all projects. Work closely with project managers to track progress and provide updates on any changes in strategy or priorities.
- Planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the program - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the program, and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programs and corporate, technical and specialist standards
- Ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the program plan
- Managing third party contributions, communications with all stakeholders, dependencies and the interfaces between projects
- Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the program are identified or issues arise
- Assists cross-functional team in all technical and business aspects of a project.
- Review projects regularly to increase manufacturability and efficiency. Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks
- Manage customer change orders.
- Develop KPIs that track project milestone performance and material status to assure the on-time delivery of products. Ensuring there is allocation of resources and skills within the program's individual projects.
- Holds a Degree in Engineering faculty
- With a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
- Expected to travel overseas when the needs arise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective communication with all levels of staff and management within the organization and third-party organizations
- Consistently meeting deliverables Risk Management Control risk and communicate to appropriate levels.
- Technical knowledge of Photonics and Semiconductor.
