PACIFIC COMOX REPORTS 2.8% COPPER & 0.22% MOLYBDENUM OVER 3 METERS WITHIN A 71 METER INTERVAL OF 0.17% OR 3.4 LBS/TON MOLYBDENUM STARTING 1 METER FROM SURFACE REPORTED IN HOLE 102

Pacific Comox Resources Ltd. has released the assays for an additional three diamond drill holes testing the area of the former producing underground copper mine (the South zone) and the former producing open pit molybdenum mine (the North zone) at its Ryan Lake copper/molybdenum property at Matachewan, Ont. Assays will be reported when received for the additional holes which have been completed. The assay results for the three holes reported are summarized in the related table.

North zone

Hole 102 in the North zone reported a mineralized interval of 71 metres grading 0.18 per cent copper and 0.17 per cent (3.4 pounds per ton) molybdenum starting at one metre from surface and extending to the end of the hole. This 71-metre interval included an interval of three metres from 38 metres of 2.80 per cent copper and 0.22 per cent (4.5 pounds per ton molybdenum). Hole 102 is one of six holes drilled in late 2007 in the North zone to test the continuation of higher grade mineralization previously reported in holes 15, 16, 26 and 27 drilled to the northwest of holes 102 and 101 previously reported. The mineralized intervals previously reported for holes 15, 16, 26 and 27 are also given in the attached table. Of the 24 holes reported before 101 and 102 in the North zone, 12 holes intersected a total of 15 intervals with an average grade of 0.16 per cent (3.3 pounds per ton) molybdenum over an average length of 11 metres starting from 16 metres.
