My thoughts on the falling share price showed up with yesterdays and the day before news release of Mike Nelson leaving the company. He has 400,000 options that haven't been cashed in yet. As of yesterday he has 30 days to cash them in. Most likely he will be selling them all or has been for the last couple of days. Either way the SP will be in the .70's until he unloads his options before the 30 days is up.
Palladon Management has to get there News release act together. In the last couple of months they have been screwing up big time. News that was release last week shows up the following week on most of the news wires. Then when you check it out on sedar.com it doesn't show up until a week to a month later. I guess that was Hamish job and someone is doing double duty now and they haven't got the time to do it right. Even Bob at 321gold hasn't put up the news from 2 days ago on his web site. Management needs to put a new face on this company to attract new investor into believing that the job will be done by 3rd quarter. Behind the scenes it looks like their on schedule (except for there year end for 2007 screw up) but to the new investor who's doing there DD from certain news wires they may be missing on valuable news releases and are getting cold feet thinking that the company is incompetent when it comes to updating their share holders.
I think the new directors and the new chief operating officer is a great move to putting a new face on the company. They just need more direction when it comes to informing the share holder. And hopefully in the next couple of months a new public relations person is hired to replace Hamish and this part of share holders updates will be straighten out.
