Pantera Petroleum, Inc. is a publicly traded oil and gas exploration company (NASDAQ OTC BB: PTPE) headquartered in Austin, TX with operations in Asuncion, Paraguay. Our mission is to explore and discover energy supply in North and South America. In North America, Pantera's assets include the Block 83/84 Project, a three well, multi-pay zone prospect in the West Gomez Field within Pecos County, Texas. Based on published production data and geological and engineering calculations, recoverable reserves in the Block 83/84 Project are estimated to be more than 27 billion cubic feet (BCF) of gas and 50,000 barrels of oil.

In South America, Pantera has rights to an 85% stake in five concessions representing 3,872,000 acres, or 6,050 square miles (roughly the size of Kuwait), in Paraguay in a well established hydrocarbon area, named the Chaco Basin, where oil and gas has been produced in Bolivia since the 1920's. Current production in the Chaco Basin is over 2 BCF per day of gas and over 50,000 barrels per day of oil in Bolivia and Argentina. Reserves in Bolivia and Argentina are estimated at 73 TCF of gas and 1.9 billion barrels of oil contained in 128 fields. Pantera's five concessions represent potential estimated reserves of 6.7 TCFE of natural gas or 1.1 billion barrels of oil.
