PEDIMENT ANNOUNCES GRANT OF OPTIONS

Pediment Exploration Ltd. has granted, under the new plan, incentive stock options to certain employees, consultants and directors of Pediment to purchase up to an aggregate of 840,000 common shares. The options will be exercisable for a period of five years from the date of grant at a price of $3 per share.
