Playfair Mining arranges $500,000 private placement

Playfair Mining Ltd. has arranged a non-brokered private placement consisting of 10 million shares at five cents per share for total proceeds of $500,000. A finder's fee may be payable in connection with this placement. All securities issued pursuant to this offering will have a hold period expiring four months from the closing date. The funds will be used for working capital. Completion of the placement is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
