There are too many garbage companies that existed solely because they had good promotion over the past ten years. The result is that the maket has been left with a bitter taste in its mouth when it comes to juniors in the resource sector.

Premium has to think of how it is going to differentiate itself form the garbage in the eyes of a more technically savy group of suitors. What do they need to see and hear? Premium need to deliver to them, not necessarily us.

I am not sure, but I think it could include: (some of this I gleaned from reading various blogs, maybe someone here will recognize what they wrote)

  • a detailed plan with logical objectives and measurable deliverables
  • the presentation of what the company is looking for. This has to be more than ounces, tons, but must include some idea of what the company might be.
  • the presentation of the project risks and how these risks are being managed. (a big one may be NGOs) This must be done preemptively.
  • do not over emphasize the comparison with other mining camps. Doing this tends to highlight what is missing rather than what is there.
  • pressent management as a key competency. This necessarily must include successful people in technical roles.
