Good news for all projects in Northwetn British Columbia.

A new 287 KV power line now has an Environmental Permit and construction wil begin this year with completion in 2013.

This will bring the required non diesel electric power for any an all projects-Red Chris, Galore Creek, Seabridge Mitchell and Pretium's Snowfield /Brucejack.

The economics of all these projects now will have certainty for power supply which has always been a barrier to them moving forward.

I see on the Imperial Metals site they state that Red Chris wil now proceed and be the first customer with completion in the fall of 2013.
