Mzsmith - I liked your post but I think 200m of 20g/t is setting the bar a little high at this point in the game.
Don't forget they have mostly been doing channel/grab samples and some exploratory drilling up until now. Not to mention I was under the impression that this type of deposit would be riddled with patches of extremely high grade gold, not lower grade overy longer intervals(I could be completely wrong however, please correct me if I am).
So although they may not pull up 200m of 20g/t they may find 20, 1m patches/layers of 200gt. I think this averages out to about the same if they drill deep and don't find gold all the way through the patchy core. (since they have to average the rock that doesn't hit gold in the assays as well I belive).
I just want to ensure that everyone isn't dissapointed if they "only" find 10m of really high grade gold just yet (I'm probably wrong abour that too though, I hope I am!).
It is a hell of a lot more economical mining an open pit, high grade scenario than creating shafts anyway. Especially when they're exploring an area with no political issues, pre-built infrastructure and have the ear of some of the richest people in the country to support us.
We're poised for $5+ in the near future mark my words.
Cheers.
Gamblor.
