As far as I can tell I would agree that the news should be taken as a positive.  This 

hole for example is 169m and pierced through 6 seperate veins along the way.  

The hole would not be angled to go straight down but most likely was positioned 

perhaps 40m away drilling at an angle to intercept a surface showing at perhaps 

150m and on it's way it went through 5 other veins.
