I am not an expert on the assay process, but I believe when high grade gold is encountered they have to re-assay the samples using a different process in order to get an accurate measure. The 28 samples they refer to are core samples where the gold content exceeded the testing limit of the fire assay and they have to resubmit them for a different process that can account for the coarse gold in the cores. When I was at the property last week I was told that 27 out of the 34 drill holes had already been assayed. So that would suggest there are an additional 7 drill cores that are still pending results.
