The new Mac Pros just coming with the Intel Penrym chip (spelling?) should be nearly the fastest thing going. 8 cores too. The modern Macs (desktops) are actually very fast. And you can run any/all OS. Plus they keep their value - I have an 8 yr old Mac, still fast, and still worth something. Has never broken down. Not that I'm not shopping for something new! (Give me two 30 inch monitors with LED backlighting!) P.S. I sold AAPL at $191.

The KXL price, I agree, did very well for gold dropping $38 in one day. I have been reading that in a mature gold upleg - like we've just started - volatility increases dramatically and $50 and $100 days should be expected. While nothing goes to the moon, it's also guaranteed that gold will never be zero.
