Hey, I am all in for a KXL party!

I went to the US for my univ, but one thing I didn't learn, or forgot since, is why is your Thanksgiving on a Thursday?   Thurs off, and a a half day off on fri seems odd (at least that is what the markets do), why not a half day on thurs, Fri off?

Looks like I might be guilty of getting off the kxl topic... ummm, how bout that golden mile?!
