Good point on not being overweight on stock. I am "heavyweight", but certainly not "all in".
Usually I am more sanguine about stock picking/weighting. But, overall, there are so many factors in favour of this resource co. I haven't seen as many good factors in 20 years, personally.
The financing without warrants and options, and at a high price and bought deal, that speaks volumes to me. The geology seems right, feels right to me. I have done quite a bit of my own mapping, and there are some special things about this, for those who collate the data. No significant insider selling says a lot.
Some companies (I'll leave one particular one in the area alone today) have in-house, paid pumpers. I don't see that on KXL (as wacky as the S H board can be).
Everything they do suggests to me that they actually intend to make this work, vs. it just being a vehicle for insider speculation.
I do a lot of research and look at a lot of factors, including the "feel" of it all.
But let me know if you see the holes in it - I am not in love with any stock, so definitely no offense taken if you see problems.
As Coach has pointed out, we have been ahead of ourselves in SP, as it is really early days in reality. The $3 range doesn't seem off the wall to me now, ditto the $4 range with some good news. The subprime debacle, certain to get much, much worse (I have an SKF short-ETF position) will certainly sting us from time to time, how badly I'm not sure. hmm.
My outlook is to have a position on, and just hold it for 18 months or so. My perception is that it will pan out.
Let me/us know what you think (hopefully Agora won't smack any of you the way some others with criticism have been smacked! The KXL moderator is of high quality (thanks Crowlee) so we shoudl be ok) We should value the negatives, if they are cogently put, just as much as the positives. Thanks.
