I have some low cost e-trade accounts for instant in and out transactions or even some longer term issues where I have well founded information.

I also still maintain my full service brokerage account.  The fees per transaction are to be sure quite onerous but the benefits are getting into I.P.O.'s that I simply would not have access to if I was completely on my own.   In those cases you really only pay fees on the sale of the equity because the I.P.O. commission is paid by the company at the time of the issuance.

Kind of nice to hear a human voice every now and then in this business plus I have had my broker since her first day in the business about 17 years ago so loyalty is a factor.

When KXL hits the big time - we should all be able to spread a little of the wealth around.
