"Just for fun ran some $valuations on these assays. To add a little perspective, Noronts famous hole #5 is being touted as the richest hole in Canadian history and I believe it comes in somewhere around $1800/ton rock. (This is from memory and may not be bang on.)
Here are the values we released today:
3.6m of $8304 rock
2.5m of $13170 rock .3m of $99,000 rock
Ankeroo
Not many people are aware of Noront's gold property due to it being overshadowed by the Double Eagle nickel/ copper discovery. .
So I ran some figures based on metal prices and information on KXL and Noront's website.
3.6m of $8304 rock - Noront gold property 5.0m of $27,840 rock
- Noront hole #5 68.0m of $9337 rock
2.5m of $13170 rock - Noront hole #5 - 3.0m of $64,002.00 rock
.3m of $99,000 rock
For fun with hole #5 ( touted richest hole in Canadian history) I left out the richest nickel discovery portion and kicked out the rich copper and the silver assays too and used only the assay results for the platinum, palladium and gold.
To keep it in perspective.
All in fun.
