THANKS  TIGER CEDAR AIDVIN and others for you input on the tax question(S) its MUCH appreciated!

Sorry to say I did have to pack it in to be able to get up -to make money - to pay the tax man lol. Having said that I kind of wish I never got up as day job taxes are not nearly as fun as capital gains. groan.

Tiger; I too love golf but tiger wont be in my name anytime soon. I have 3 "holes" around my yard which my kids and I use a 9 iron to play. I tried putting in actual greens with bent grass but has not worked out (yet)   Another tax question is can I write off a new power cart and trailer against my capital gains?? Randy
